Elder Looks To Rebound From Loss at Alter

Junior guard Brad Miller scored a team-high 16 points, but it wasn’t enough to help Elder overcome a balanced scoring attack by Kettering Alter en route to a 74-61 victory over the Panthers Tuesday night at Alter.  Alter had four players in double figures and used a 23-10 third quarter to knock off Elder, ranked No. 6 in The Enquirer’s latest Division I coaches’ poll.  Elder (14-6, 3-2) will look to gain sole possession of second place in the GCL South when it travels to No. 3 La Salle (15-4, 2-3) at 7:30 Friday night.
