Greater Catholic League South Division members La Salle and Moeller, which advanced to the Ohio High School Athletic Association Southwest District Boys’ Basketball Tournament with wins last week, will take part in a Saturday night doubleheader at Wright State University’s Nutter Center with berths in the Division I regional tournament on the line.

La Salle (21-3), which defeated Elder, 49-44, Saturday night at Lakota West High School, to win the Cincinnati 2 Sectional, will play the first game of the night session – facing Dayton 1 winner Centerville (15-10) at 7 p.m.  Moeller (22-3), which beat Oak Hills, 61-58, Friday at Fairfield to win the Cincinnati 3 Sectional, will face Dayton 2 champion Springfield (18-7) in the second district final at 9.

It is a full day of district finals at Wright State, with Mason (22-1) facing Wilmington (23-1) in the day’s first game at 1 p.m.  That game is followed by the second game of the afternoon session, matching defending Division I state champion and current No. 1-ranked Huber Heights Wayne (25-0) and Lakota East (17-7), at 3.  The Nutter Center is located at 3640 Colonel Glenn Highway, Dayton 45435.

Each winner advances to the regional semifinals.

Tickets for each session are $6 in advance, $7 at the gate.
